QUEENWOOD SCHOOL FOR GIRLS, MASTER PLAN

Queenwood Board of Governors

Alexander and Lloyd were invited to assist the School’s Working Group to formulate a Master Plan for the development of the physical facilities of Queenwood School into the next Century. The School’s Brief required detailed consideration to be given to the consolidation of the School’s various properties with a view to achieving economic, practical and functional solutions for long term operations.

Six properties were considered and appropriate solutions were developed in close association with the School’s Board of Governors through the Working Group. A new High School and Junior School were designed reflecting Queenwood’s desired progressive image, incorporating the old buildings and providing a dynamic learning environment for the girls and staff.
