Howard Iorere

Howard is the Director of Alexander and Lloyd Pacific Ltd (ALPAC).

Howard is an Architect and has over 17 years of architectural and building construction experience in Papua New Guinea. He has significant experience in education and health architecture, community-based construction methodology, project management and contract administration covering all provinces in PNG. He has travelled widely throughout PNG managing projects in over six hundred (600) primary schools and fifteen (15) rural health centres. He has significant experience in the architectural design, contract administration and project management of building construction projects in the Highlands, New Guinea Islands, Southern regions of PNG including refurbishment and maintenance of buildings. Howard also has excellent experience of working with non-government organisations and community groups including church groups, youth groups, landowners, small community builders and sports groups. His work has involved bringing together women and men to help establish their community groups, organising meetings with schools, landowners and provincial heads to discuss building design, construction site and land compensation-related issues with landowners and local contractors and to mediate solutions.
