Tim has 30 years Australian and international experience in all facets of architecture, project planning and building construction including project design and development, building design and documentation, project monitoring and evaluation, contract administration and construction supervision of significant and complex projects. Tim has managed and been an active member of multi-disciplinary design teams involving a diverse range of specialist and technical inputs on numerous projects throughout Australia, PNG and the Pacific. He has gained valuable experience working with international aid donors including AusAID, World Bank, ADB, AFD, JICA and WHO and is sensitive at all times to cross-cutting issues such as skills transfer, gender, the environment, community development and governance.Tim has recently completed courses on Facilitation Skills and Participatory Approaches for Working in Development Projects.
Tim is A&L’s Quality Coordinator and is responsible for Quality Management. A&L utilise quality systems developed to satisfy ISO requirements. Compliance with A&L’s Quality System is mandatory for all projects and it is designed to provide confidence that a consistently high level of quality is being achieved. Tim ensures that practice procedures follow A&L’s established QA system
